According to the financial data platform FactSet, the five leading cloud service providers—Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and Oracle—are projected to have a cumulative capital expenditure of USD 4.2 trillion over the four-year period concluding in 2029. A growing share of this funding is anticipated to be sourced through bond issuances. Furthermore, the Brookings Institution forecasts that U.S. investment in AI infrastructure will surge to USD 10.3 trillion from 2025 to 2032, constituting an average of 3.6% of GDP annually. Goldman Sachs, meanwhile, predicts that AI investment will account for 1.9% of U.S. GDP by 2026.
