The newly launched artificial intelligence (AI) agent Muse by Meta Platforms has swiftly topped the mobile app charts, signaling the social media company's progress in the fiercely competitive consumer AI assistant market. As of Monday, Muse has secured the top spot on the free app charts in the US Apple iOS App Store and Google Play. Abe Yousef, a senior analyst at Sensor Tower, noted that since its launch on September 8, Muse has accumulated over 902,000 downloads in six days, surpassing the 773,000 downloads of its predecessor, Meta AI, in the same period after its release.
