OpenAI and Anthropic have explored signing a legally binding agreement to conduct stress tests on each other's AI models. Earlier this year, the two companies and their legal teams discussed the terms of the agreement, planning to uncover vulnerabilities or potential risks in each other's commercialized AI models through a series of tests. According to the draft agreement, both parties would gain access to the application programming interfaces (APIs) of each other's commercialized AI models, excluding unreleased models. OpenAI and Anthropic have both committed to not retaining each other's data during the testing period. It remains uncertain whether the two parties have finalized this agreement.
