This innovative lineup is designed to seamlessly operate across various scenarios, including warehousing, material handling, and last-mile delivery. Cao Peng, the technical leader of JD Group, emphasized that the supply chain provides an unparalleled proving ground for AI applications in the real world. JD has thus forged a dual-wheel drive model, featuring the “Intelligent Flywheel” and the “Industrial Flywheel,” to propel its advancements.

Regarding computing infrastructure, JD Cloud has made significant strides by deploying domestic computing clusters. Additionally, it has advanced a comprehensive plan to amass human embodied data on a massive scale, aiming for millions of hours. To foster industry-wide progress, JD Cloud has also open-sourced relevant datasets, encouraging collaboration and innovation.

In constructing its model matrix, JD has developed the JoyAI foundational model system. This system achieves technological breakthroughs through the deployment of the “Super Brain” large model 3.0, marking a significant leap forward in AI capabilities.

At the application level, the “Wolf Pack” robot family has successfully established a complete ecosystem, showcasing JD's commitment to integrating AI into practical solutions. Meanwhile, JoyInside's embedded intelligent technology is driving the evolution of smart hardware, steering it towards proactive, whole-house services that anticipate and meet user needs seamlessly.

In the first half of this year, JD's dedication to innovation was evident as its R&D investment surged by 53.2% year-on-year. This growth has accelerated for three consecutive quarters, underscoring JD's relentless pursuit of AI integration across both industrial and lifestyle sectors, thereby expediting the transformation and enhancement of these domains through cutting-edge technology.
