On September 4, Hangzhou played host to the commencement ceremony of the 2026 'Quality Month' campaign in Zhejiang Province, alongside the Ninth Quality Standards Conference for the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. With the aim of forging a unified vision throughout the industrial supply chain, establishing a cooperative governance structure for quality standards that merges industry, academia, research, and practical application, and propelling the premium growth of the embodied AI sector, the conference unveiled several outcomes, notably the Joint Initiative for Collaborative Development and the Quality Standards Framework. The Joint Initiative emphasizes the importance of prioritizing quality to cement the bedrock of industrial progress; advocating for the creation of a unified standard system to streamline industrial collaboration; and orchestrating data governance to bolster the foundation for intelligent training. Specifically, in terms of prioritizing quality, the initiative highlights the collaborative development of a standard system, motivating enterprises to engage actively in the formulation of national and industry standards, and facilitating the harmonious implementation of standards across foundational general-purpose technologies, core technologies, components, comprehensive system integration, and industry applications.
