Google has recently unveiled AI-driven voice interaction features, leveraging the power of the Gemini large language model, in three of its flagship productivity applications—Docs, Gmail, and Keep. These new functionalities are branded as Docs Live, Gmail Live, and Keep Live, respectively. Specifically, Docs Live empowers users to create integrated documents through voice commands, Gmail Live allows users to inquire about email content using their voice, and Keep Live supports voice recording and the structured organization of notes. Currently, these features are accessible at various subscription tiers, exclusively support the English language, and are compatible with both iOS and Android platforms. They are set to be expanded to Workspace Business users in the enterprise edition in the near future. Voice interaction is steadily emerging as a significant mode of engagement within Google's product ecosystem.
