On August 31, the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly with iFLYTEK, Alibaba Cloud, and other entities, released the latest iteration of China's first large model for the chemical industry—the Intelligent Chemical Industry Large Model 3.0 Pro. This model breaks through the traditional application mode of large models, which primarily focus on knowledge Q&A and content generation. It constructs a four-tier technical system of 'large model—intelligent agent—professional skills and tools—application scenarios,' achieving a leap from 'understanding and answering' to 'planning, executing, and verifying.' It promotes the upgrade of artificial intelligence from a knowledge acquisition tool to an intelligent engineering partner, providing a new technological foundation for the intelligence of chemical R&D, engineering design, and production operations.
