On August 31, the European Commission declared that, in accordance with the Digital Services Act, ChatGPT has been designated as a "very large online search engine," while "Reddit" and "Roblox" have been categorized as "very large online platforms." These three U.S. service platforms, each boasting an average monthly active user base of over 45 million, will be subjected to more stringent oversight. They are required to meet additional obligations by the end of December this year, encompassing risk assessments and content moderation measures.
