On August 27, Robam's semi-annual report unveiled the company's intensified commitment to AI-driven culinary R&D. By the end of June 2026, Robam boasted a technical workforce nearing one thousand, with almost 180 professionals dedicated to AI and intelligence-related roles, reflecting a notable year-over-year surge of around 47%. In the first half of the year, the company achieved a milestone by obtaining 561 active patents, encompassing 171 invention patents—a significant 37.9% increase from the previous year. Over the past six years, Robam has amassed an impressive portfolio of 7,640 active patents, including 1,012 invention patents, marking a remarkable 68.1% year-over-year growth. In terms of its R&D framework, Robam has recently inaugurated the AI Future Kitchen Research Institute and the Cooking Intelligence Research Institute, spanning the entire R&D spectrum. Furthermore, the company has established an Embodied Intelligence Laboratory, pioneering the industry's inaugural training platform for culinary robots.
