On August 26, Reuters reported that two researchers who had been invited to join Bezos-backed AI company Project Prometheus decided to start their own venture. They founded Accelerated Understanding Inc and launched a physical AI system that differs from mainstream large language models. The company claims that the model can process 5 trillion data units in a single prompt, approximately 5 million times the processing capacity of Anthropic and Google's flagship models.
