Broadcom is negotiating to raise $70 to $80 billion in debt funding, intended to support artificial intelligence companies such as Anthropic. The financing will be divided into a senior tranche of approximately $45 billion and a subordinated tranche of about $35 billion, with specific amounts subject to change. Institutions such as Blackstone and Apollo are in talks to participate in this financing. Previously, Broadcom, in collaboration with Blackstone and Apollo, completed the first phase of $35 billion in financing for its AI platform. Currently, tech companies are actively issuing debt to raise substantial funds for AI infrastructure construction, with Nvidia also launching a multi-billion-dollar financing plan. Broadcom's stock rose slightly by over 1% on Friday.
