An embodied AI startup named ‘Lingxi Zhiyong’ has recently been established in Shanghai. It was founded by Duan Yifan, a PhD graduate from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), with Professor Ji Jianmin, also from USTC, acting as co-founder and chief scientist. To tackle the difficulties associated with deploying embodied models on production lines, the team has proposed a ‘Model + Harness’ technical framework and unveiled the industrial embodied execution system ROSS. This system is characterized by its skill abstraction, hierarchical safety monitoring, and anomaly recovery functions.
