DeepSeek has officially declared a modification to the pricing structure of its DeepSeek API, embracing a peak-valley pricing approach. Under this model, the costs during off-peak periods will be slashed to half of those during peak hours. Specifically, peak hours are designated from 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 Beijing Time, while all other hours fall under the off-peak category. These revised pricing rates will come into force at 00:00 on August 17, 2026.
