According to The Motley Fool, on this Monday, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, issued an open letter entitled "The Future Belongs to Everyone," in which he expounded on the company's strategic direction in the realm of artificial intelligence. Zuckerberg firmly believes that superintelligence should not be confined to the hands of a select few institutions. Instead, it should be made accessible to every ordinary individual, ensuring safety and prosperity through a system of checks and balances among various interests. He vowed that Meta will champion the inclusivity of AI technology, with initiatives such as releasing open-source models, establishing an independent board to oversee and approve safety standards, and envisioning a future where personalized AI tools are available to all. These tools could include 24/7 personal intelligent agents, creative tools, personalized tutors, and more. Furthermore, Meta intends to allocate computing power via a dynamic auction mechanism to cater to the diverse needs of different users.
