Commencing on August 1, 2026, the group standard for AI OPC Terminology, which has been meticulously compiled by the Zhejiang Provincial Digital Economy Development Center in collaboration with other entities, will be formally put into effect. This standard delineates AI OPC as an enterprise that is both led and overseen by a singular core individual, usually employing no more than 10 staff members, and primarily engaged in the research, development, application, or provision of services related to AI technology. As the inaugural terminology-centric standard in China tailored specifically for the AI OPC sector, it encompasses five principal sections: fundamental concepts, technical components, business aspects, community service facets, and ecological considerations. This comprehensive framework serves as a valuable reference for the identification, assessment, management, and servicing of AI OPCs.
