Beginning on August 1, a total of 488 national standards will be officially put into practice, encompassing 46 mandatory national standards and 442 recommended national standards. These standards span across multiple sectors, including energy, emerging industries, green products, and tourism services.

In the realm of green and low-carbon development, standards like those for energy consumption limits per unit of product in coal mining, formaldehyde-related regulations, and water consumption quotas for the Yellow River Basin will play a pivotal role. They are set to drive forward energy conservation, emission reduction, and the preservation of water resources.

Regarding emerging industries, the establishment of standards for brain-computer interfaces, digital twins, and Beidou applications is poised to streamline technological research and development, as well as facilitate the practical application of these innovations.

Furthermore, standards for household solar water heating systems, photovoltaic power generation, and green product evaluation are expected to elevate product quality and energy efficiency. This, in turn, will bolster green consumption and foster industrial development.

In the tourism services sector, the introduction of standards for tourism shopping, barrier-free tourism, and senior tourism is anticipated to enhance service quality. These measures aim to guarantee a pleasant and hassle-free travel experience for the general public.
