On July 28, the Cyberspace Administration of China, in concert with the cyberspace regulatory bodies of Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Shenzhen, along with five premier AI large-scale model enterprises, collectively inaugurated the "Special Initiative to Bolster IPv6 Capabilities for AI Large-Scale Models" in the Xiong'an New Area. This initiative is designed to foster widespread IPv6 support within generative large-scale model applications, thereby establishing a robust network bedrock for the advent of the intelligent age. Presently, applications rooted in AI large-scale models are experiencing swift growth, accompanied by a significant uptick in Token traffic, which in turn imposes greater demands on network capacity. IPv6, distinguished by its expansive address space, streamlined routing protocols, and inherent security features, has emerged as a pivotal infrastructure underpinning large-scale model applications.
