At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) sub-forum, Alibaba unveiled its partnership with Honor to deploy a highly optimized mobile phone scenario solution, leveraging the 'Qianwen Large Model,' in Honor's Robot Phone. Looking ahead, mobile phone agents will be tasked with managing intricate, long-duration assignments that involve multiple steps, where a single misstep could result in overall task failure. Dr. Xu Zhuhong, Vice President of Alibaba Group, emphasized that the crux of developing mobile phone agents currently rests on pinpointing high-frequency, valuable real-world scenarios, establishing a closed feedback loop involving model development, engineering implementation, and real-world scenario feedback, and ensuring widespread adoption and usage of the model among a broad user base.
