Nearly four years have passed since ChatGPT was launched on November 30, 2022, and users often face difficulties in finding historical conversations. The search functionality in its sidebar is ineffective, making it nearly impossible to search for old conversations amidst a large number of sessions. However, users can find historical conversation records through some methods, such as checking the left-side history bar, verifying the logged-in account, finding archived conversations, extracting data from the browser's Local Storage, or accessing directly via session ID. Additionally, ChatGPT has also introduced a 'Memory Search' feature, which allows for precise searches by incorporating personal information from memory, but users can also choose to disable this feature.
