Nvidia's co-founder, Jensen Huang, accompanied by a team of executives, recently embarked on a visit to Japan. Their primary objectives were to champion the 'Physical AI' ecosystem and foster collaborative ventures. Prior to this visit, Nvidia had already unveiled groundbreaking technologies like Cosmos 3-H, specifically designed to expedite the development of robotics. During their stay in Japan, eight prominent companies, including industry leaders Fujitsu and Fanuc, joined the Cosmos Alliance, which is spearheaded by Nvidia. This alliance aims to deepen collaborative efforts in robot development and propel the progress of Physical AI. Meanwhile, Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae is actively advocating for investments in these cutting-edge sectors, with a strategic vision to empower domestic companies to secure a 30% share of the global AI robot market by 2040. This ambitious goal is projected to cultivate an industrial sector worth approximately 20 trillion yen.
