On July 15, the Cyberspace Administration of China released an announcement, stating that cyberspace regulatory bodies are systematically undertaking the filing process for generative AI services, in compliance with the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services." Seven new mobile-side generative AI services have successfully completed their filings, all bearing a filing date of July 8, 2026. The seven products encompass Apple Intelligence, Huawei's Xiaoyi AI Large Model, OPPO's AndesGPT, vivo's BlueHeart Mobile-Side Large Model, Xiaomi's Surge AI, Samsung's Galaxy AI, and ZTE Nubia's Doubao Mobile Large Model. Among these, Apple Intelligence's filing has garnered the most attention, as its successful registration suggests that AI functionalities on Apple devices available in the domestic market are anticipated to be made accessible to users.
