Buffett stated that the position Berkshire took in Alphabet, the parent company of Google, was led by him, as he is optimistic about the company's investments in the AI sector. He admitted that overlooking Alphabet in the early years was a mistake. Although he now believes the company has a high chance of success, he still favors four or five other companies in the portfolio more. Berkshire has been gradually building its position in Alphabet since last year, with a current holding value of nearly $21 billion. It also participated in Supporting financing (please keep this term as is if it refers to a specific financial term without a direct equivalent; otherwise, it could be translated as 'accompanying financing') by injecting $10 billion to support its AI R&D. Major decisions at Berkshire require the joint approval of Buffett and his successor CEO, Greg Abel.
