On July 8, it was reported that Singaporean state investor Temasek Holdings increased its investments in the AI sector, driving its net portfolio value to S$518 billion (approximately $401 billion) in the last fiscal year. According to the new valuation method, Temasek's total shareholder return in Singapore dollars for the fiscal year ending March 31 was 10.5%. Using the soon-to-be-discontinued valuation method, its return in US dollars was approximately 16.4%, similar to the gains of the S&P 500 Index over the same period.
