At 10 a.m. today, the Shanghai Municipal Government convened a press conference. During the event, Wang Ruomeng, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Innovation and High-Tech Development at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), announced that last year, China witnessed annual shipments of AI-enabled smart terminals, including smartphones and computers, surpassing 100 million units. It is anticipated that these products will maintain their rapid growth trajectory this year, with sales potentially outpacing those of non-AI products for the first time. Presently, the monthly visits to AI-native office intelligent agents in China exceed 20 million, with daily token calls reaching hundreds of billions, showcasing a substantial increase from the previous year. This underscores that the 'AI Plus' initiative is propelling the robust development of novel products and industries.
