The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, coupled with the High-Level Conference on Global AI Governance, is set to take place in Shanghai from July 17 to July 20. On July 7, during a press conference held in Shanghai, Wang Ruomeng, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Innovation and High-Tech Development at the National Development and Reform Commission, disclosed that the commission will present two significant achievements at this year's conference. Firstly, the "China's AI Benefits the World" case collection will be unveiled for the third consecutive year since 2024. This collection encompasses case studies from over 20 countries and spans multiple fields. Secondly, the Action Plan for Cooperative Development of Artificial Intelligence will be introduced. This plan covers eight key aspects, including the inclusive provision of intelligent computing power, and is designed to enhance exchanges and cooperation with various countries across multiple domains.
