Before the opening of the U.S. stock market on June 29, 2026, the Dow Jones Industrial Average will adjust its component stocks. Alphabet (stock ticker: GOOGL), the parent company of Google, will be included, while Verizon Communications (VZ) will be removed. On the same day, Honeywell International (HON) will complete its spin-off. The parent company will be renamed Honeywell Technologies and remain in the Dow, while the spun-off aerospace company will not be included. This adjustment will strengthen the Dow's coverage of high-growth technology sectors such as advertising, cloud infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
