Broadcom, Apollo, and Blackstone have joined forces to establish a strategic platform that will leverage Broadcom's XPU and networking solutions to assist top AI labs, including Anthropic and OpenAI, in achieving over 20 gigawatts of computing capacity by 2028. The platform will launch with $35 billion in funding, led by Apollo and in partnership with Blackstone, with the initial funds supporting Anthropic in expanding its computing capacity beyond 1 gigawatt.
