At the WWDC 2026 event, Apple unveiled that its newly enhanced Siri AI features would roll out to users in a beta version later this year. Nevertheless, users located in the EU and mainland China will be excluded from accessing these features within the same timeframe. Apple clarified that while Siri AI will be offered at no cost alongside the new system, iOS and iPadOS users in the EU will need to wait until Apple devises a solution that adheres to local regulatory standards before they can utilize it. Similarly, users in mainland China will also be unable to experience these features for the time being, as necessary work must be undertaken to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
