Ant International has introduced the Agent Mobility Protocol (AMP), designed to comprehensively address issues related to payment convenience, security, and assurance in AI agent-based shopping. It also helps merchants achieve cross-market interoperability and promotes the global operation of agent-based commerce. AMP, for the first time, integrates agent identity, authorization, payment, settlement, and trust into a unified framework, establishing a common language for e-wallets, super apps, and more. This lowers the barrier for external access while enhancing transaction success rates and payment security.
