Creators are eligible to apply for permissions to upload and integrate Skills, with the platform anticipating comprehensive coverage and continuous enhancement of related features in the future. This initiative signifies the emergence of the first distribution model that seamlessly blends AI Skills with the community. Concurrently, Xiaohongshu has also initiated the "RED Skill Awards" support program and a specially curated leaderboard, with the goal of reducing the barriers to AI Skill distribution and fostering a more robust AI innovation ecosystem within the community.
Historically, the dissemination of AI Skills has encountered significant obstacles. However, Xiaohongshu's "content-as-distribution" approach empowers AI Builders to swiftly capture attention and engagement, facilitating widespread interaction across the platform. As the enthusiasm for Skills grows, Xiaohongshu has evolved into a crucial hub for AI creators to exchange and publish original Skills, gain market exposure, and attract initial users.
At present, 300,000 creators have shared content related to AI Skills, with topic exposure surpassing 600 million views. Since the introduction of RED Skill, nearly a thousand original Skills have been published, and the platform boasts over 160,000 active developers. The new wave of AI creators view it as the premier innovative community platform for "Build in Public".
