Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology in Jiangsu Province unveiled the "Work Plan for Accelerating the Development of Embodied Intelligent Robot Datasets." This plan outlines 11 strategic measures spanning four critical domains: broadening data collection scenarios, bolstering innovation capabilities, refining standardization frameworks, and fostering collaborative endeavors. The objective is to swiftly capitalize on the burgeoning opportunities within the artificial intelligence terminal sector.
The plan delineates clear responsibilities among diverse departments, championing the opening up of real-world application scenarios. Specifically, it mandates the annual release of no fewer than 100 low-sensitivity, high-value real-world scenarios for utilization. Furthermore, it encourages the formation of alliances between manufacturers of embodied intelligent robots and their downstream users, offering financial support of up to 1 million yuan for qualifying individual projects.
Additionally, the plan aims to accelerate the establishment of integrated pilot platforms and promote collaborative innovation. With a keen focus on pivotal areas such as data collection, it will facilitate the development and revision of at least 30 pertinent standards in a systematic and tiered approach, thereby fostering a robust ecosystem for embodied intelligent robot datasets.
