On June 5th, Baidu Health entered into a strategic partnership with the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), with the objective of fostering in-depth collaboration in areas including AI-driven smart clinics, the cultivation of doctor IP (Intellectual Property), and holistic disease management. Presently, Baidu Health's AI-driven smart clinics have been deployed in more than ten premier hospitals spanning Central China, the Jiangsu-Zhejiang region, and Southern China, marking a significant stride towards cross-regional, large-scale implementation.
This innovative model streamlines the entire patient journey, bolstering the efficiency of medical services through a suite of solutions such as AI-guided triage, online registration and appointment scheduling, and AI-powered pre-consultation. The intelligent triage system has already catered to over 500,000 patients, with more than 70% of those genuinely in need securing expert consultations and surgical interventions through AI-facilitated appointment scheduling. Moreover, the acceptance rate of medical records generated by AI pre-consultation among doctors has soared to 93.4%.
