On June 4, SpaceX, the space exploration technology company owned by the world's richest man, Elon Musk, released a 17-minute roadshow video to officially promote its IPO plan to investors. SpaceX Chief Financial Officer Brad Johnson provided a detailed introduction to the company's rocket, satellite, and artificial intelligence businesses in the video, reiterating SpaceX's founding mission—to transform human development and propel humanity towards becoming a multi-planetary species. SpaceX plans to go public on NASDAQ on June 12 under the ticker symbol SPCX, with an offering price of $135 per share. The company intends to issue 556 million shares, aiming to raise approximately $75 billion, valuing the company at around $1.77 trillion. SpaceX's business is primarily divided into three major segments: rockets (aerospace business), Starlink (communications business), and artificial intelligence (AI). Among these, the Starlink business has become the company's core source of cash flow. As of March 31, 2026, Starlink boasts approximately 10.3 million subscribers, covering 164 countries and regions. In terms of artificial intelligence, SpaceX has established the Colossus supercomputing data center and plans to launch on-orbit space AI computing projects in the coming years. The company anticipates that the potential market for its enterprise AI business exceeds $20 trillion.
