On June 5, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed that the three major memory chip manufacturers—SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, and Micron Technology—have been approved to supply Nvidia's AI accelerators with the latest high-bandwidth product, HBM4. These three companies dominate the global market for computing memory semiconductors and have been fiercely competing for a share of this business. During his visit to Seoul, Huang stated that all three suppliers have passed certification and have commenced production to competitively support Nvidia's latest AI chip, Vera Rubin.
