Embodied AI startup Yuanjie Intelligence has recently declared the successful closure of a multi-million seed funding round. This financing was spearheaded by the Inno Science and Technology Innovation Fund, with contributions from the Tsinghua University Alumni Seed Fund and prominent individual investors. The funds will be mainly used to bolster the research and development of an embodied world model tailored for catering scenarios, as well as to refine and deploy core products.
Established on March 31st of this year, Yuanjie Intelligence has already garnered product collaboration and deployment intentions from several leading domestic and international firms. The company's founder, Dr. Wang Dong, who previously held the position of technical head at Meituan's Takeaway Division, brings a wealth of technical expertise and industry experience in catering to the table. The co-founding team predominantly comprises members from companies like Meituan.
Yuanjie Intelligence zeroes in on back-of-house catering scenarios. Rather than developing humanoid robots, the company constructs an embodied world model that empowers robots to "think before they act," thereby enhancing back-of-house efficiency and tackling labor challenges. Its technical framework encompasses an embodied world model, dual engines for task orchestration and scheduling optimization, and the seamless integration of self-developed core components with general-purpose hardware.
Product implementation will kick off with takeout packaging and delivery, gradually extending to the operation of other back-of-house equipment and global intelligent scheduling.
