On May 19, Dell Technologies revealed that it had acquired 1,000 new customers for its core artificial intelligence product line in the previous quarter, demonstrating the company's accelerated efforts to meet the demand from traditional large enterprises for introducing AI workloads. Dell CEO Michael Dell stated that the company now has 5,000 'AI Factory' customers, up from 4,000 reported in the February earnings report. This product line primarily offers servers equipped with NVIDIA chips, software, and services to support AI computing. Customers include Eli Lilly, Honeywell, and Samsung Electronics, with application scenarios covering drug development and the construction of AI-optimized semiconductor factories.
