On May 1, 2026, reports emerged indicating that the transaction price of NVIDIA B300 AI servers in the Chinese mainland market had soared to around RMB 7 million (approximately USD 1 million) per unit. This represents a nearly twofold increase from the RMB 4 million price point at the end of the previous year. In contrast, the same server model, equipped with eight B300 GPUs, is priced at approximately USD 550,000 in the U.S. market, demonstrating only a marginal rise since the end of the previous year. Consequently, the price differential in the Chinese market has nearly doubled compared to its U.S. counterpart.
