Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced a significant expansion of its partnership with OpenAI. Starting immediately, the latest OpenAI models, the programming assistant Codex, and managed agent services powered by OpenAI will be available through the Amazon Bedrock platform, all in limited preview. This move marks the first time AWS customers will be able to directly access OpenAI's cutting-edge intelligence within their trusted cloud infrastructure, meeting enterprise demands for security, efficient governance, and operational control. Through this collaboration, customers can seamlessly utilize OpenAI models using existing model access, fine-tuning, and orchestration services, and consolidate usage costs under their existing AWS cloud spending commitments, streamlining procurement processes and financial management.
