On April 28, 2026, the Chinese Academy of Sciences proudly announced the launch of its innovative 'PanShi 100' model system. This system is constructed upon a scientific foundational large model, which serves as its intelligent core. It encompasses eight disciplinary large model capability clusters, effectively steering AI-driven scientific research away from fragmented, isolated endeavors towards a more collaborative and platform-centric mode of innovation. To date, the 'PanShi 100' has been successfully implemented across more than 50 institutions affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, spanning over a hundred research scenarios and showcasing remarkable potential for future advancements.
