As per a research report issued by Goldman Sachs, Xiaomi has introduced the MiMo-V2.5 model series, a mere month following the launch of the MiMo-V2-Pro series in March. Notably, the MiMo-V2.5-Pro secures a spot within the global top five in the Artificial Intelligence Analysis index and shares the top-two position among Chinese models with Kimi K2.6. Its performance across multiple sensory modalities nears that of leading models such as Gemini 3.1 Pro. Goldman Sachs is of the opinion that the introduction of this new model further cements Xiaomi's standing as a premier developer of foundational models. Over the past half-year, Xiaomi has quickened the tempo of model updates, hastening the commercialization of large language models (LLMs) and broadening their scope of application. The bank retains a 'Buy' stance on Xiaomi, setting a target price of HK$41.
