On April 11, Du Guangda, the Deputy Director-General of the Science and Technology Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, announced that the Ministry will prioritize the manufacturing sector as its main focus and leverage applications as the driving force. It plans to unveil a series of high-value “AI+” scenarios, delve into typical applications, construct specialized intelligent agents, introduce novel types of intelligent terminals, formulate new standards, nurture talent for industrial applications, foster high-quality enterprises, and facilitate the deep integration of artificial intelligence with the manufacturing sector. Data indicates that by 2025, the scale of China's core AI industries is projected to surpass RMB 1.2 trillion, with more than 6,200 enterprises operating in this sector.
