On Friday, CoreWeave declared that it has inked a multi-year cooperation pact with Anthropic, aimed at providing computing power to bolster Anthropic's Claude AI model. Following this announcement, CoreWeave's stock price experienced a significant uptick, surging by more than 10%. Just a day prior, Meta also revealed an expansion of its partnership with CoreWeave, with an investment commitment of up to $21 billion. CoreWeave highlighted that, among the top ten AI companies worldwide, nine, excluding xAI, rely on its services. In its collaboration with Anthropic, an initial 'phased infrastructure deployment' strategy will be implemented, with further expansions contingent on specific conditions. CoreWeave's operational data centers are outfitted with a substantial number of NVIDIA GPUs. Despite the trend among hyperscale tech firms to construct their own data centers, industry behemoths still opt to leverage CoreWeave's infrastructure. To facilitate these partnerships, CoreWeave has assumed considerable debt and announced a fresh $3 billion debt issuance yesterday. Meanwhile, the popularity of Anthropic's Claude large model and AI programming assistant continues to soar, with its annual recurring revenue exceeding $3 billion.
