The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with four other departments, has unveiled the "Artificial Intelligence + Education" Action Plan. This initiative aims to hasten the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) education among primary and secondary school students. It involves refining educational guidelines pertinent to AI, delivering a well-rounded AI curriculum, and seamlessly incorporating it into regional educational frameworks. The plan advocates for cross-disciplinary AI instruction and supports its integration into extracurricular activities, research endeavors, and various educational contexts. It underscores the importance of merging technological education with humanistic education to bolster students' AI proficiency, fortify AI educational foundations in primary and secondary schools, and assist schools in rural and remote locales in providing pertinent courses through national platforms.
