Based on a report from Cailian Press, Alibaba Group has recently issued a company-wide announcement detailing adjustments to its organizational framework and the core technology leadership lineup. Notably, Tongyi Lab has been elevated to the Tongyi Large Model Business Unit, with Zhou Jingren at the helm. In a strategic move, Li Feifei has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Alibaba Cloud, while Wu Zeming will continue to serve as the Group CTO, dedicating his efforts to that role. Lei Yanqun has stepped into the position of CEO for Taobao Flash Sales.

Furthermore, Alibaba has established a Group Technology Committee, chaired by Wu Yongming, and comprising key figures such as Zhou Jingren, Wu Zeming, and Li Feifei. In this new setup, Zhou Jingren will also assume the role of Chief AI Architect. Li Feifei will be tasked with overseeing the technological advancements and AI cloud infrastructure development at Alibaba Cloud. Meanwhile, Wu Zeming will take charge of constructing the Group's business technology platform and AI inference platform, acting as the convener for these initiatives.
