On April 8, Wu Yongming, the CEO of Alibaba Group, released an internal memo detailing organizational reshuffles within the AI domain, aimed at expediting AI advancements. The key changes encompass:

The formation of the Alibaba Group Technology Committee, presided over by Wu Yongming himself, with Zhou Jingren, Wu Zeming, and Li Feifei as its esteemed members.
The elevation of the Tongyi Lab to the Tongyi Large Model Business Unit, under the leadership of Zhou Jingren.

In tandem with these changes, Li Feifei has been designated as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Alibaba Cloud. Wu Zeming will continue to dedicate his efforts as the CTO of Alibaba Group, while Lei Yanqun steps into the role of CEO for Taobao Flash Sales.
