AI company Anthropic PBC has hired Eric Boyd, a seasoned Microsoft executive, as its head of infrastructure to support the growth of its artificial intelligence services. Boyd stated that over the past six months, particularly in the last two, Claude Code has demonstrated the limitless potential of artificial intelligence. As demand for Anthropic's products has surged, the service has struggled to maintain stable operations on multiple occasions. To meet this demand, Anthropic is expanding its cloud computing capacity and has committed to investing $50 billion in the construction of AI data centers. Boyd previously managed Microsoft's AI platform, and Anthropic's CTO believes his experience will help meet record-breaking usage demands from users worldwide.
