The software developed by Tiny Corp has passed the review, allowing users to directly connect a GPU to a Mac for processing AI large language models. The driver installation process has been significantly simplified, eliminating the need for workarounds such as disabling System Integrity Protection. Tiny Corp, the developer of tinybox, previously had conflicts with AMD over driver issues. It currently sells two products and plans to launch exabox in 2027. With the rise of AI agents, demand for high-end Macs has increased, prompting Apple to adjust relevant configurations and prices. The driver, independently developed by Tiny Corp, is specifically designed for AI large model computing. This development holds significant importance for AI developers, as users are now expected to be able to complete training or inference tasks on regular Mac devices.
