Baidu Health has officially launched an AI-powered tool for medical professionals—the 'AI Medical Assistant'. This groundbreaking platform represents China’s first comprehensive doctor workstation, seamlessly blending authoritative medical search capabilities with task-oriented AI execution. The system boasts two primary operational modes: a search mode, which draws on tens of millions of medical data points to facilitate evidence-based queries with reliable sources, and a task mode, built upon the Claw framework, designed to tackle intricate tasks and propel medical AI from mere 'information retrieval' to practical 'task completion'. At present, users can access the search mode via the 'AI Medical Assistant' app, with the task mode set to be introduced in phases. To safeguard patient confidentiality and data security, the platform incorporates a five-tier medical-grade protection system.
