On March 29, 2026, Wujie Power made an official announcement that Dr. Xia Zhongpu, hailing from the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has taken on the roles of Co-founder and Co-CTO at the company. In this capacity, he will shoulder full responsibility for the research and development of native embodied AI multimodal large models rooted in world models. Additionally, he will oversee the construction and enhancement of core technological infrastructure, including data closed loops and cloud-based simulations.

Previously, Dr. Xia Zhongpu served as the Head of End-to-End Intelligent Driving Technology at Li Auto. During his tenure, he accomplished the feat of achieving China's first large-scale mass production of an end-to-end intelligent driving solution. Furthermore, he constructed the Apollo prediction module framework for Baidu's L4 autonomous driving team. With his addition to the Wujie Power team, he is set to aid the company in constructing a 'universal brain' for robots and propel breakthroughs in embodied AI technology, as well as its large-scale industrial application.
