Yesterday (March 29), the 2026 Annual Conference of Zhongguancun Forum, a five-day event, concluded successfully in Beijing. Under the theme of "Deep Integration of Scientific and Technological Innovation with Industrial Innovation," this year's forum featured a comprehensive lineup of 115 events, spanning five key segments: forum sessions, achievement announcements, technology transactions, frontier competitions, and ancillary activities. During the grand achievement announcement ceremony on the final day, 21 state-of-the-art technological breakthroughs were unveiled. These achievements span four pivotal domains: the frontiers of global science and technology, the primary arena of economic development, critical national needs, and the well-being of people's lives and health. In the realm of global science and technology frontiers, five significant achievements were highlighted, including the trial operation of the High Energy Photon Source and the world's highest magnetic field fully superconducting user magnet. For the economic front, seven breakthroughs were showcased, such as the open-source intelligent computing software system for diverse AI chips—Zhongzhi FlagOS 2.0, and Tongzhi Brain, which is pioneering the next generation of general-purpose robots. Addressing critical national needs, four achievements were revealed, including 175MPa ultra-high pressure wellheads and associated equipment designed to facilitate efficient deep oil and gas exploration. Finally, in the field of people's life and health, five advancements were announced, such as the groundbreaking discovery of the core pathogenic functional circuit of Parkinson's disease and China's inaugural shoulder replacement surgical robot system.
